I worked for the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) for 23 years in the Art department preparing graphics and illustrations, in addition to doing layouts for the Perspectives, Policy Forum, Letters, Books and Essays sections. On a tight deadline for weekly magazines, I worked with science writers, PhD editors, and scientists to create visual representations of complex scientific concepts for Science magazine and for the online journals, Science Signalling and Science Translational Medicine. I love doing the research and figuring out how to present an author's vision to the readers. This is the great satisfaction of doing illustration.

Software: Adobe Illustrator, Tableau, Photoshop, InDesign, Chimera, and Cinema 4D.
